A Very Shy Dog I Charmed
This little guy was shy at the start of each visit and became very rambunctious and playful in the house. But he hated to go outside. Back under the table he would go if a leash was picked up. After many drop-in visits we eventually made it to the back door – wow! – then, on subsequent visits, to the back yard – bow-wow! In the back yard, all we did was sit on the bench and look at the yard. That was all he could handle. And that was fine. It takes us all as long as it takes. It was a very big deal and his mom was very pleased. Then we ran back in the house!
